About
Kathlyn, a fifth-generation Houstonian, is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their personal, family, and business goals. Prior to embarking on her career as a Realtor dedicated to providing unparalleled customer service, Kathlyn practiced law as a seasoned tax specialist helping clients in the Houston area and around the world protect their hard-earned assets from the government. An expert on Houston area neighborhoods, Kathlyn loves helping her clients navigate one of the most diverse cities in the world. Growing up in commercial real estate development, Kathlyn can also find you help if your interest in land expands beyond personal, recreational, or residential use in Texas. People are Kathlyn s greatest passion, and she loves to learn about different cultures, religions, languages, customs, and cuisine. In pursuing her passion for people, Kathlyn has been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout the world, but she also believes Houston is one of the best places to learn about how the rest of the world lives. The immense diversity surrounding us in the Bayou City defines our culture and enlightens our minds without leaving our own backyard. As Houston continues to grow, Kathlyn believes we will all benefit from the rich expansion of our culture and community. As new housing developments are added, we also experience increased richness and diversity in Houston's more established neighborhoods. "More is More" truly defines all that Houston can offer her residents. The question we should all be asking when we're considering a real estate investment or move is: What is it that I want more of - time, space, beauty, cash flow? Whatever the answer to that question, that goal is more achievable in the real estate market in Houston, Texas, than any major metropolitan city in the world. Kathlyn grew up in Spring Valley in the heart of the Spring Branch/Memorial Area in Houston and hails from a long line of entrepreneurs who have helped build jobs and investment opportunities for Houstonians for over a century. While she sells all over the Greater Houston area, Kathlyn's areas of expertise are the competitive, often challenging close-in Houston neighborhoods, especially the Heights, Montrose, Museum District, River Oaks, Upper Kirby, West University, Rice Military, and close-in Memorial. Kathlyn also has extensive personal knowledge of Houston neighborhoods west of the 610 Loop, including: the Memorial Villages, Spring Branch, West Memorial, Royal Oaks; Briargrove, Walnut Bend, Briargrove Park, Tanglewood, and the Galleria area; as well as Bellaire, Meyerland, and Southwest Houston. Kathlyn has lived in Spring Valley, the Heights, and Tanglewood over the years. She stays active in the community and is privileged to have taught Sunday school and sang in her church choir; to have served as a mentor through Kids Hope USA, Chair of the St. Agnes Academy Alumnae Board Committee Head of the Association of Women Attorneys Judicial Reception, Chair of the St. Andrew's Episcopal School Gala & Art Auction, and as a volunteer fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Kathlyn loves exploring exotic cultures across the seas and also camping and road-tripping, always eager to learn more about the great State of Texas and share her native culture with her two boys.
